On this page, you will find all the information about editing your already existing key.
Identifier
With this option, you can set an identifier for the key. Note that the key identifier is unique and used internally by the plugin, and its different from the display name.
If the identifier is changed, all player progress associated with the key will no longer work.
Display Name
With this option, you can adjust the display name of the key. The display name is typically shown in the messages when you open the chest.
For the display name, you can use the default Minecraft color codes. For hex colors, use the &#D6D045 format.
Key Material
With this option, you can customize the key for your crate. By default, it is a Tripwire Hook. You can drag and drop the item you want to use, and it will automatically copy its name and lore.
If you change the material of the crate while players already have the key, they will still be able to use the previous material. The key will only break if you change the crate identifier.
Glowing Key
With this feature, you can make your key have a glowing effect. Note, that the plugin adds an enchantments and the hide enchantments tag to the item.
Virtual Key
Virtual keys provide a more secure method for using keys and prevent users from duplicating them on your server. By default, this feature is disabled. If enabled, the crate can only be opened with virtual keys, and physical keys will no longer be usable.
